About The IronWorkers Local 725
Since 1950, Local 725 has trained some of the best Ironworkers, Rodbusters and Welders in Canada allowing us to mold and shape Southern Alberta’s skyline. Our dedication to proper training and providing a safety driven product is what gives our contractors the upper hand.

Event Details
Our Elevated Work Platform program is OSSA approved and developed by Honeywell. The course includes proper conduct of a walk around inspection, functional checks from the ground and the platform, protective equipment and operation of the aerial platform. The course is half classroom, half hands-on. Ticket is valid 3 years.

Standard First Aid is offered by Ironworkers 725 for members.
Learn to recognize and provide intervention for life-threatening emergencies until medical aid arrives.
Topics include:
- Emergency Scene
- Management
- Choking
- Shock and unconsciousness
- Severe bleeding, spinal injuries, fractures
- Resuscitation skills for infants, children and
- One and two rescuer
- CPR for an adult casualty
Standard First Aid includes the above hands-on lessons as well as a written exam. Ticket is valid for 3 years.
